Reflection:
I used iMovie to create my Celebrate Kansas Voices project. I was lucky and didn't have to use any other apps besides iMovie, so it was relatively simple. The only thing that I did get frusterated with, was trying to figure out how to create a full movie in iMovie and not just a trailer. I had never really used iMovie before this class, so trying to work with it and get all of my pictures and the sound in the right place was a little difficult for me. I also had problems because my voice audio was longer than the pictures playing during it, so I had to find more pictures, add them in, and cut some of my audio short. I had a lot of fun researching for this project though, because Regier Farm is a part of my family history. I was able to talk to my grandfather and my father for a while on the phone, and interview both of them about their memories. It brought to life something that I had always grown up hearing about, but never really knew any details about. I also loved getting to look through old pictures of our family farm. I am very glad that something that is history for my family could be shared with all of you as well.
